As the
National Weather Service reports parts of metropolitan New Orleans have suffered
total structural failure, a section of levee has given way, flooding the
Ninth Ward neighborhood, the roof of the Super Dome appears to be
peeling away, at least one hundred people are
trapped on their roofs by rising flood waters , the storm
blew out windows in high rise hotels (including the Hyatt where I stayed during my last visit), and at least ten people have died due to Killer Katrina:
seven in Florida and
three in Louisiana, I find myself at a loss for words.
Meanwhile TD #13 spins northeast of the Lesser Antilles another wave forms off of Cape Verde.

I don't have anything else to say.
